OK enough bullshit!
Sunday night at 9PM, a made-for-TV disaster flick comes on CBS. It's called Day of Destruction, and it has all the required elements for a GREAT disaster flick.
Element 1: A Quaid Element 2: "Day" in the title
Allow me to illustrate:
Independance DAY, featuring Randy QUAID DAY After Tomorrow, featuring Dennis QUAID DAY of Destruction, featuring Randy QUAID
So there you have it folks. All the proof you need. Let's have an in-depth discussion on Monday. Rarely to we get quality chaos from Hollywierd.. Twice a year, tops.

I missed it. Was is god awful or did it just suck?
I did watch the TV edited version of Jeepers Creepers. It was neither Jeepy nor Creepy.

It was ok...a lot of tornados and stuff.
But part 2 comes on Wednesday. That looks to be the real $$$ part. 8:00. The whole first part last night was basically leading up to this massive convergence of storms over Chicago. The stage is set for some chaos on Wednesday night.

It was more than okay; it was by far the best made for tv movie ever. in the first five minutes all of las vegas was leveled by tornados, and periodic chaos rained down throughout. sure there were some slow parts, but the thing is a 4 hour extravaganza, so it was bound to happen. Plus, the producers are obviously saving their best destruction for part 2, this Wed. night (8pm). My only real complaint is Randy Quaid. I think CBS wanted some chaos legitamacy by getting a Quaid, but they don't use him nearly enough, and his character is an idiot tornado chaser. still, the first half was definitely worth the two hours.
